Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in mental health. I earned my MSW from New York University and primarily work with adult men of color navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and life transitions. In the midst of what many describe as an epidemic of loneliness among men, I strive to create spaces where connection, emotional honesty, and support are normalized. When appropriate, I also provide psychotherapy to men of color and their partners.

I understand how culture, masculinity, and relationships shape the way we express emotion—especially for men who are used to being "the strong one." Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients build practical tools, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and grounded in empathy. Whether you are feeling stuck or seeking clarity, therapy can be a space to build resilience and move forward with intention.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, compassion, and honoring the dignity and worth of a person. I believe the present moment is often the most powerful place to explore change, and when someone is ready, the tools to grow are often already found within them. I also recognize that not everyone is ready for change—and that's okay. I meet clients where they are, understanding that progress can take many forms. I especially enjoy working with adult men, and much of my experience has been supporting men of color in navigating identity, relationships, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a safe, supportive space where you're invited to show up exactly as you are. We'll begin by exploring what brings you to therapy, the experiences that have shaped you, and the goals you want to work toward. I strive to create an atmosphere where you feel safe enough to process your emotions and reflect honestly. Together, we'll identify small, intentional steps between sessions to help you build momentum. After all, showing up and being present is already half the battle.
