Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, and I came back to this work because it matters. I've spent most of my career sitting with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, addiction, and the kind of stress that builds quietly over time — the kind most people don't talk about until it becomes unavoidable. I practice telehealth only, which means wherever you are in Missouri, you can access consistent, quality care without rearranging your life. I offer morning, afternoon, and evening appointments — including some Saturdays — because I know life doesn't stop at 5 p.m. My approach is direct and practical. I use evidence-based tools, but I adapt them to what actually works for you specifically. I'm not here just to listen — I'm here to help you move.

My approach to therapy

I work from three evidence-based frameworks that I find genuinely useful: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify the thought patterns that keep you stuck, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to build flexibility when life doesn't cooperate, and Motivational Interviewing for clients navigating substance use or significant behavioral changes. I don't believe one approach fits everyone. What I do believe is that therapy should produce something tangible — a shift in how you're thinking, what you're choosing, or how you're responding to what used to knock you sideways. Sessions feel like a focused, honest conversation. I'm direct, but I'm not harsh. I meet you where you are and we go from there.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll ask you what brought you in and what you're actually hoping to get out of this. I want to hear it in your own words — not just your symptoms, but your situation, what you've already tried, and what you're looking for from a therapist. By the end of that hour, you'll have a clear sense of whether we're a good fit and a general direction for where we're headed. There's no complicated intake process, no judgment, and no pressure to share more than you're ready to. Just an honest conversation about where you are and where you want to go. Booking is straightforward — select a time that works for you and we'll go from there.
