Great to meet you!

I work primarily with men who are trying to better understand themselves, manage anger, and show up more fully in their relationships and daily lives. As a veteran, I understand the unique challenges that can come with service, and I value working with other veterans navigating that path. My approach is grounded in practical tools, honest conversations, and a belief that growth often comes from exploring deeper purpose, values, and what really matters most. I aim to make therapy feel approachable and real—no pressure, no judgment, just a space where you can do meaningful work and move forward with clarity.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, structured, and focused on real-life change. I’m trained in the Gottman Method and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I’m a NAMA-certified anger management specialist, so our work is grounded in proven strategies that help you better understand your patterns and build healthier responses. I often suggest relevant reading, podcasts, and manageable journaling exercises to keep the work going between sessions—nothing overwhelming, just tools that actually fit into your life. The goal is to help you make steady, meaningful progress both in and outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, conversation-based approach where I’m getting to know you and what brings you in. I see a good course of therapy as having a clear beginning, middle, and end—starting with a thoughtful assessment, moving into focused treatment, and eventually working toward a strong and intentional conclusion. Early on, I’ll be gathering information about your history, current challenges, and the symptoms or patterns that are most concerning to you. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. My aim is to create a space that feels comfortable, straightforward, and focused on helping you make real progress.
