Great to meet you!

I have spent most of my Clinical Social Work career in healthcare settings, helping individuals and families adjust to new and often life-changing diagnosis and providing guidance managing chronic health conditions. Other areas of specialty are Life Cycle Changes, Loss & Grief, Addition, Recovery & Sobriety and related anxieties.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy has been described by current and previous clients as comfortable and relaxed, allowing clients time to feel comfortable with the therapeutic process while building a trusting relationship with me as their therapist.

What you can expect from me

Clients will receive an authentically warm and professional welcome. Introductory comments and overview of in-take session will include discussing, at the conclusion of our initial session, their comfort level and interest in moving forward with me as their therapist.

For therapy to be successful, the key is for clients to find a therapist that 'fits' their expectations, a therapeutic alliance that a client feels comfortable with.
