Great to meet you!

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience, and I truly value the opportunity to support children, adolescents, young adults, and their families through life’s challenges.

I believe that every patient deserves to feel heard and understood, and I work closely with each individual and family to develop a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan that meets their unique needs.

My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where patients and families feel comfortable, respected, and confident in the care they receive.

My approach to therapy

I am double board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, allowing me to provide individualized care to patients across the lifespan. My approach begins with listening and understanding the whole person not just their symptoms, but also their strengths, relationships, family dynamics, and life experiences so that together we can develop a thoughtful, practical, and evidence-based treatment plan.

I treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, with particular expertise in autism spectrum disorder across all ages, eating disorders, ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. I also provide second-opinion consultations for patients and families seeking additional guidance about a diagnosis or treatment plan, as well as psychiatric evaluations and clearances for patients preparing for surgery when a mental health assessment is required.

My style is warm, collaborative, and respectful. I want every patient and family to feel heard, understood, and comfortable asking questions so they can be active partners in their care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is typically 60–90 minutes, depending on your individual needs and concerns. I take the time to get to know you, understand what brings you to care, and learn about your history, experiences, and goals.

We will review and discuss any questionnaires you have completed and explore your concerns in a warm, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. You will have plenty of time to ask questions and share what is most important to you.

By the end of the evaluation, we will discuss my initial impressions and work together to develop personalized next steps for your care.
