Great to meet you!

Beginning therapy can be one of the hardest steps, especially when you have had to navigate mental health stigma, having your emotions dismissed, difficulty prioritizing your needs, or having years living a state of trauma, or survival mode.

I specialize in life transitions, anxiety, and self-esteem concerns. I have a deep passion for trauma work and rebuilding a sense of safety. I frequently work with clients who are overwhelmed with carrying high expectations, including BIPOC individuals.

My approach to therapy

I value a collaboration to identify your unique needs and goals. I use evidence-based practices, such as EMDR (starting Dec 2026), CBT, UP, and PTSD-specific treatment for CPT, PE, and WET. We will check-in about how therapy is working for you and adapt our approach as needed.

What you can expect from me

Finding the right therapist is crucial. I value our therapeutic relationship, which allows us to see the unfiltered you, beyond a diagnosis or role, including the strengths you bring and the challenges you are navigating. Together, we will explore your meaningful steps towards healing and growth.

It is very common to feel nervous before or during your first session. I have experienced that feeling myself as a therapy client. We will move at a comfortable pace, and explore your history that you feel ready to share, discuss your present life, and begin identifying your goals.
