As a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in two areas that often intersect: people-pleasing and trauma. I help clients understand how people-pleasing can be detrimental to their mental health, particularly when linked with a history of trauma, and support them in developing healthier coping skills.
Using a client-centered approach (you guide the sessions toward where you want to go), I can help you process your traumatic experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and move towards a more fulfilling life. My goal is to help clients improve their emotional responses, enhance their self-esteem and self-worth, and redefine boundaries and relationships.
During our initial sessions, we will explore the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you find your voice.
