Great to meet you!

As a woman of color and mental health professional, I understand the importance of culturally affirming care for our BIPOC community, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment where your full self is seen, heard, and honored.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and trauma informed. I meet my clients where they are-whether that means navigating the immediate aftermath of a crisis or slowly unpacking years of lived experience. I've supported people through assault, intimate partner violence, religious trauma, and complex family dynamics, and I understand that healing isn't one-size-fits-all. I strive to create a space where each person feels seen, heard, and supported, honoring their pace and their process as they move towards healing on their own terms.

What you can expect from me

We will start by talking about what brings you in and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. I'll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and any challenges you are facing. This is also a chance for you to ask me questions and get a feel for how I work. By the end of the session, we'll talk about next steps and whether working together feels like a good fit. There's no pressure-just space to start where you are and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
