Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My clinical background includes supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and eating disorders. I also have experience incorporating play therapy when working with children and developmentally appropriate interventions for adolescents.

I believe therapy should be individualized rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I begin with a comprehensive assessment to understand your experiences, concerns, strengths, relationships, and goals for treatment. From there, we work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you.

My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative while also providing structure and guidance when needed. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed interventions, and other therapeutic modalities based on your individual needs. Whether you are working through past experiences, navigating current challenges, strengthening relationships, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, validating, and understanding. I believe it is important to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing openly, and feeling truly heard without judgment. I take the time to understand your experiences, challenges, strengths, and what matters most to you.

While I will meet you where you are, I will also gently challenge and guide you toward meaningful, positive changes. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we will identify patterns that may be holding you back, develop healthier ways of coping, and build practical skills that support your goals. I tailor my approach to your individual needs, helping you gain greater insight, confidence, and the tools to create lasting change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building rapport, trust, and a comfortable therapeutic relationship. I approach our first meeting as both a therapist and a learner, taking the time to understand you, your experiences, and what brought you to therapy. We will explore your concerns, strengths, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable, while beginning to identify how we can work together to support meaningful and positive change.
