Rosa Ramirez

Hola ! Please thank yourself for making the act of self-love and being here. My name is Rosa Ramirez (she/her/ ella) and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 7 years of experience in the mental health field. I am a first-generation bilingual and bicultural therapist that understands firsthand the struggles of being the first and oldest in an immigrant family; having to navigate the pressure to do everything right and still feel like it is not enough.

I obtained my master’s in social work form California Baptist University and focus my practice in working with individuals from ages 18-100. It is truly never too late to break cycles and heal wounds that were not your fault. I have had the honor to work with underserved communities such as BIPOC, Latinx, immigrant women, and the LGBTQ2+ community.

My work focuses on helping individuals overcome complex trauma, maladaptive attachments, anxiety and depression. I utilize interventions informed in internal family systems, narrative therapy, client centered therapy, and ACT therapy. I believe that you are the expert in your story and my role is to hold your hand as you maneuver adversity and complex emotions. Through our journey together you will develop coping skills that help you build resiliency.

My clients can expect someone who is lighthearted, relatable, and reliable. I aim to provide a vulnerable safe space with transparency and compassion. In our first session I aim to be relatable and open to assisting in developing the goals that will make you grow.
