Great to meet you!

My name is Rosa, but everyone calls me Rosie. I am a bilingual English and Spanish-speaking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I’ve been a nurse since 2007, and working in mental health has always been my passion and a source of dedication. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to healing. You don’t have to face these challenges alone. Healing is possible, and you are not alone. I earned my Master’s degree with honors from West Coast University. I take pride in helping my patients develop personalized plans to improve their well-being and successfully adjust to life changes. My approach is rooted in patience, empathy, and respect.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Yoshi, who is full of personality and love. I’m passionate about traveling for pleasure and for work with Liga International Flying Doctors of Mercy. I love connecting with nature and those in need, which helps me stay grounded and balanced.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported. I work with each person to build coping skills, self-awareness, and practical tools for growth. My experience in the mental health system has strengthened my ability to guide clients through difficult transitions with patience and understanding. I use evidence-based practices while tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs. Together, we focus on building resilience and achieving meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space to share their story and goals. Together, we’ll begin identifying strengths, challenges, and a personalized plan to guide their path toward growth and stability.
