Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I am deeply committed to helping adults navigate their emotional challenges and life transitions. My passion for mental health stems from my own experiences growing up in an Asian culture where emotions and feelings were rarely discussed. Being the only daughter among three brothers, I found myself absorbing and exploring emotions from a young age, which sparked my curiosity and dedication to this field. I have extensive experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship and marital issues, as well as cultural concerns, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for every client.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused modalities, and psychodynamic techniques. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to explore their struggles, always with a sense of curiosity and respect for their unique backgrounds and experiences. I am especially attuned to cultural issues and the ways they can impact emotional well-being, and I welcome clients from all walks of life who are ready to engage in meaningful self-exploration and growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where your story is heard and valued. We will discuss your goals, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. My priority is to understand what is most important to you and to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. Whether you are seeking support for trauma, anxiety, depression, or navigating cultural or relationship challenges, I am here to help you take the first steps toward healing and personal growth.
