Great to meet you!

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to take it alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through life transitions, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and person-centered techniques to help you build resilience, gain clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for growth, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore, heal, and move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which allows us to balance hope with practical tools.

With SFBT, I focus on your strengths, your goals, and what’s already working even in small ways. This helps create momentum and reminds you that change is possible.

With CBT, I look at how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. If certain patterns are contributing to stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges, we work together to understand and reshape them.

This combination allows us to move forward with clarity and intention, while also addressing the deeper patterns that may be holding you back.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where we begin getting to know you, your concerns, your goals, and what feels most important right now. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Because I combine Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), our work will be both hopeful and practical from the start. We’ll talk about what you would like to see differently in your life and identify strengths you already have that can support that change. We may also begin exploring how certain thoughts, emotions, or behaviors are connected to the challenges you’re experiencing.

Many clients leave the first session with a clearer sense of direction, a few practical tools to try between sessions, and a renewed sense of empowerment about their ability to create change.
