Great to meet you!

I’m a Board‐Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 20+ years of healthcare experience, providing compassionate, evidence‐based care for adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders, and substance use disorders.

I trained at the University of South Alabama and have worked in outpatient clinics, hospitals, memory care, and correctional settings. These experiences help me understand how mental health challenges impact daily functioning and overall quality of life.

My approach is trauma‐informed, culturally responsive, and solution‐focused. I take time to understand your story and create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lived experiences.

My passion is helping people heal and regain a sense of stability, confidence, and hope. You don’t have to navigate this alone — I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and focused on helping you get real results. I take the time to understand your symptoms, your goals, and what may be standing in your way so we can create a treatment plan that truly works for you. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and thoughtful, individualized medication management.

At the heart of my work is an empathetic, nonjudgmental approach. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly, knowing you are heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. I value open communication and encourage you to be an active partner in your treatment, because your voice and your experience matter.

Together, we’ll work toward clarity, stability, and meaningful progress—one step at a time.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, I take time to get to know you and understand what’s bringing you in. I’ll ask about your current concerns, symptoms, and history so I can get a clear picture of your needs and goals.

We’ll also talk about what you hope to gain from treatment and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and supportive for you. If appropriate, we may discuss medication options along with practical strategies to help you start feeling better.

My goal is to create a calm, judgment‐free space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. You don’t need to have everything figured out—showing up is already a powerful first step.
