Great to meet you!

You may be carrying deep pain from trauma, betrayal by loved ones, childhood or sexual abuse, grief, or a body that no longer feels like it’s on your side. I specialize in trauma as you’ve experienced and interpreted it, helping adults, parents, LGBTQ+ folks, and people living with chronic health conditions make sense of their stories and find relief.

I am an author and a Spanish-speaking therapist from Spain, and I understand what it’s like to adjust to new cultures, navigate multiple identities, and hold spiritual questions alongside emotional pain. I work with clients around cultural identity, confusion, and feeling “in between” worlds, and I am committed to affirming and supporting identities.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, patient, and collaborative. I see therapy as a space to understand how your past experiences, especially trauma and family dynamics, shaped the way you see yourself and others today. Together, we’ll explore your relationships, beliefs, and coping patterns with curiosity, not judgment, so you can grow, set healthier boundaries, and reduce emotional pain over time.

With parents, I focus on helping you better understand your children, build more patience, and respond instead of react. I integrate evidence-based tools with a spiritual and culturally sensitive lens, so we can honor your values, background, and identity while working toward change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy now and what you hope will feel different in your life. We’ll move at your pace, especially if you’ve experienced trauma or betrayal, and I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, cultural context, and support system.

You can expect a calm, validating space where all parts of you are welcome, your confusion, grief, faith or spirituality, and your hopes for the future. By the end of our first session, we’ll identify a few initial goals and small, manageable steps so you leave with a sense of direction and the reassurance that you don’t have to do this alone.
