Great to meet you!

I graduated from Simmons University with my Masters's Degree in Social Work in 2023. I have over 14 years of work and volunteer experience working with adolescents between the ages of 14-22 year olds. For the past 8 years, I have been working with young men between the ages of 13-21 in an alternative school setting. Over the last several years, I have taken a special interest in helping students navigate the emotional and logistical transition from high school into adulthood.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine collaboration. My approach is empowerment-focused, meaning I value your voice, your choices, and your goals while helping you identify patterns, build on your strengths and interests, and explore healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. Sessions are often relaxed and conversational, and I enjoy using humor when it feels natural because I believe healing doesn't always have to be serious. At the same time, I tailor my approach to your unique needs—offering space to talk freely when that's most helpful, while also providing structure, practical tools, and gentle encouragement to help you move toward the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant diagnoses or previous treatment experiences. We'll also review important practice information, including attendance expectations, telehealth and technology policies, releases of information, confidentiality, and mandated reporting guidelines. I'll answer any questions you have and guide the conversation at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and confident about our work together.
