Great to meet you!

As a Native/Indigenous therapist, I work with an understanding that therapy doesn't look the same as the books. I make sure to work through a trauma-informed lens, keeping in mind that we all experience trauma differently. Through my work in private practice, I aim to work with BIPOC folks like myself and provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help normalize seeking and receiving mental health support in our communities.

My approach to therapy

My years of experience comes from working through a variety of settings such as residential treatment facilities, community and tribal mental health, and the department of human services. From these experiences comes an understanding that cultural competence is important.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that my clients leave therapy feeling more equip to understand their emotions and how to express them, have improved communication and emotional regulation skills and feel validated in their experiences.
