Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Rose Ampadu, a dual board-certified nurse practitioner credentialed as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). This dual training lets me care for the whole person — recognizing how physical and mental health are deeply connected — and build treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. My focus areas include [anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD — adjust to her specialties], and I'm committed to creating a warm, judgment-free space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. I believe quality care should be accessible and centered on you, and through telehealth I'm able to meet you wherever you are on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and whole-person centered — I see care as a partnership built on trust and open communication. With dual training as a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I look at how your physical and mental health influence one another, rather than treating either in isolation. I take time to understand your history, your goals, and what's really happening in your life, then build an individualized plan that combines evidence-based treatment with practical, supportive care. I'm a firm believer in helping you understand the "why" behind every recommendation, and through telehealth I can meet you where you are — making care more convenient, consistent, and centered on you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a relaxed, pressure-free conversation focused on getting to know you. We'll talk through your history, your current concerns, and what you're hoping to achieve, so I can understand your full picture — both physical and mental — before recommending anything. Together we'll set clear, realistic goals and begin shaping a plan that fits your life, whether that involves medication management, lifestyle support, or a combination of approaches. My aim is to create a warm, judgment-free environment where you feel safe being open, and you'll leave with a clear understanding of your next steps and plenty of room to ask questions. Feeling comfortable, informed, and genuinely heard is the foundation of everything we'll do together.
