Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor passionate about helping individuals feel emotionally seen, supported, and empowered during difficult seasons of life. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the military, an experience that shaped my understanding of resilience, identity, emotional stress, and the invisible burdens many people carry while continuing to function at a high level.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity struggles, and chronic stress. Many of my clients appear successful and capable on the outside while internally feeling exhausted, disconnected, or overwhelmed. I especially enjoy working with high-functioning individuals who are used to carrying a great deal emotionally while still trying to show up for everyone else.

My approach is warm, grounded, compassionate, and personalized. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe enough to slow down, process their experiences honestly, and reconnect with themselves without judgment. As a Christian, my faith deeply influences the compassion and care I bring into my work, and for clients who desire it, I welcome faith integration as part of the therapeutic process while remaining respectful and supportive of individuals from all backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and deeply human. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches while also focusing on emotional safety, self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and practical coping strategies that support long-term healing and growth.

I work from the understanding that many emotional struggles are connected to chronic stress, unresolved experiences, burnout, relationship dynamics, and patterns developed through survival and adaptation. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than shame or judgment.

My goal is not simply to help clients “push through,” but to help them better understand themselves, process what they have been carrying, and develop healthier ways of coping, relating, and living more authentically.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a comfortable and supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, emotionally safe, and able to share at your own pace without pressure or judgment.

During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently experiencing, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I may also ask questions about stressors, relationships, emotional patterns, coping strategies, and important life experiences to better understand your needs and goals.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is simply the beginning of creating space for healing, self-understanding, and support.
