Great to meet you!

I am certified in treating ADHD, trauma, and providing parenting skills. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, parenting skills, and psychoeducation on various mental health symptoms. I have experience working with youths who have difficulty with emotional regulation, coping with mental health symptoms, and setting/accomplishing goals. I have experience working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting skills, boundary setting, anger management, and learning how to implement coping mechanisms in their day to day lives. I can provide clients with a better understanding of who they are to best achieve their goals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered. I am committed to helping clients identify their needs and goals and working toward achieving their goals. I believe it is important to use a combined therapeutic technique utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Strength Based therapeutic and other evidence based interventions to help clients build a trusting relationship to work through difficulties they are facing in their day-to-day life.

My communication style is warm, compassionate, and approachable, creating a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. I aim to foster a non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first session together, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where we’ll get to know each other. We’ll discuss your background, the challenges you’re facing, and your goals for therapy. I’ll listen attentively, respecting your experiences, and we’ll start building a personalized plan to support your growth. In our first session, we will discuss your expectations of therapy and what you wish to gain from therapeutic sessions together. I will answer any questions you may have about therapy and how to discuss future therapy sessions. It’s all about establishing trust, understanding your unique needs, and beginning the journey toward healing in a collaborative way. You’ll leave feeling heard, respected, and ready to move forward with confidence.
