I am an experienced behavioral health provider and health educator dedicated to treating patients with respect, dignity, and a focus on overall wellbeing, personal goals, recovery, and safety.

My professional background includes over 13 years as a nurse clinician and nurse practitioner for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) treating adult patients. Additionally, I spent 5 years at MAAS in New Haven specializing in opioid and alcohol use disorders, and I have provided outpatient behavioral health treatment for adults of all ages at LifeBridge Community Services for over 5 years.

A strong therapeutic alliance is essential for building confidence, trust, and mutual respect. I am committed to providing a professional and caring clinical environment where you can feel safe sharing your symptoms and history, seeking emotional support, and working toward your recovery goals.

During our initial psychiatric assessment, which typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, I will listen closely to your primary clinical concerns and reasons for seeking treatment. We will discuss your current symptoms to formulate a diagnosis and develop an individualized treatment plan centered on your recovery objectives, safety, and wellness.

To ensure a comprehensive evaluation, we will also review your mental health and substance use history, medical and family history, psychosocial background, current medications, and any immediate safety concerns.
