Rose Neugroschel

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of clinical experience. I specialize in treating adults with anxiety, depression, and disordered eating. Additional areas include OCD and Alcohol use disorder. I have a breadth of experience, including medical social work, crisis intervention, management skills training and employee assistance, and community mental health.

My approach is flexible and integrative. I only use evidence-based interventions and will work with you to understand your current concerns and goals. Whether you are looking for short term therapy to focus on a particular issue, or more supportive therapy to focus on overall personal growth or more complex issues, we will work together to come up with a plan that fits your needs.

My approach is integrative, goal-oriented, and I use cognitive-behavioral therapy as a "base", though I will pull from the other evidence-based modalities that I'm trained in, including acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I support the "health at every size" movement and believe that health comes in a variety of sizes and shapes.

You can expect me to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns and ineffective responses to stressors in your life. You can expect acceptance, non-judgment, and strategies and tools to help you manage the anxiety and depressive symptoms that brought you to therapy.
