Great to meet you!

Dr Rose brings decades of experience in mental health care. She has worked in many settings and supports people from many backgrounds. Her kind style helps clients feel safe and understood. She focuses on clear communication, simple steps, and steady treatment that fits each person’s needs. From depression to trauma to ADHD, she offers care based on real clinical practice.

Every client receives personal attention, patient support, and calm guidance each step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I begin by creating a safe, respectful environment where clients can speak openly about their concerns, experiences, and treatment goals without feeling judged or rushed.

I work closely with each client to develop a clear understanding of their symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current stressors, strengths, and support systems. Treatment recommendations are explained in understandable terms so clients can make informed decisions and participate actively in their care.

My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and other complex mental health conditions. Depending on the client’s needs, treatment may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive psychotherapy, education, coping strategies, and coordination with other health-care professionals.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a calm, welcoming, and confidential environment where they can discuss their concerns openly without feeling judged or rushed. The goal is to help each client feel heard, understood, and actively involved in the treatment process.

The initial appointment includes a comprehensive psychiatric assessment of current symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, sleep, daily functioning, relationships, stressors, strengths, and treatment goals. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and share what they hope to improve through care.

By the end of the session, we typically work toward:

  • Developing a clear understanding of the client’s primary concerns
  • Identifying immediate needs, risks, and priorities
  • Discussing possible diagnoses or areas that require further evaluation
  • Reviewing appropriate treatment options
  • Establishing realistic and measurable goals
  • Creating an individualized plan for follow-up care

Treatment recommendations may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, coping strategies, lifestyle changes, referrals, laboratory testing, or coordination with other health-care professionals. Clients leave the first session with a clearer understanding of the next steps and a treatment plan designed around their individual needs, preferences, and circumstances.
