Great to meet you!

"Hi, I'm Rose Walsh, LPC. I specialize in helping, young people, adults and couples navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach combines warmth, compassion, and evidence-based therapies like Solution Focused Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive conversation—a two-sided dialogue with room for reflection, healing, and growth! As your therapist, it is my goal to see you become a better version of yourself. It is my belief that life's experiences teach things about the world that may no longer be the most helpful or true today; even if they were true at the time in our past. When we don't adapt and remain flexible, we find ourselves in a web of mistaken beliefs, thinking errors and unresolved life problems. As a result, it becomes too hard to find our way and manage life's challenges in the here-and-now. I love to be present when my clients find a new way and authentically experience change. I've worked with clients from many walks of life and with varied needs

My approach to therapy

My approach combines warmth, compassion, and evidence-based therapies like Solution Focused Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive conversation—a two-sided dialogue with room for reflection, healing, and growth!

I find that my warmth and strength based approach work well for for teens, young adults, couples, and parents. My goal is for each client to feel valued and seen. In addition to gaining skills and processing hard emotions, my clients leave more empowered and confident than

What you can expect from me

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better."
