Great to meet you!

I’m a Latinx, first-generation graduate from Southern California with extensive training in sex therapy. My background and lived experiences shape the way I show up in the therapy space. I obtained my Master of Science from Loma Linda University and have completed doctoral-level coursework in Human Sexuality and Sex Therapy.

I’m passionate about decolonizing therapy and creating a space that honors culture, identity, and the intersection of both. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and relationships, as well as treating sexual concerns, sexual dysfunctions, and trauma. My approach is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. I strive to make therapy feel accessible, affirming, and relevant to each client’s unique experience while bringing warmth, humor, and authenticity into the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both practical and deeply reflective. I integrate approaches like CBT, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy, while also centering culture, identity, and the intersection of those experiences in the work we do together. I balance validation with gentle challenging, helping clients not only feel understood but also make meaningful changes. Clients often leave sessions with both insight and concrete tools they can actually use in their day-to-day lives.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current situation, background, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together, but you can share everything at your own pace. We’ll also go over my therapy style, answer any questions you have, and start identifying some goals so you leave with a sense of direction and support.
