Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Roseangel — a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 5 years of experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders including bipolar disorder.

One thing worth knowing upfront: as a PMHNP, I can both prescribe medication and provide brief supportive therapy in the same visit when needed.

I'm especially drawn to working with adults and adolescents who've been rushed or unheard in the past with their medication, and those who feel like something bigger is being missed. Clients have told me they value the fact that I truly listen and take the time to understand what you are going through rather than slapping on a label in 10 minutes and rushing you out the door. Your story matters to your treatment plan.

My approach to therapy

I start by listening — not just to your symptoms, but to your full picture: sleep, relationships, work stress, what you've already tried, and what's felt close but not quite right.

For anxiety and mood disorders, we'll explore brief motivational techniques alongside medication management. I don't take a "prescribe and check in every 90 days" approach. I want to understand how you're responding, adjust when needed, and stay engaged.

ADHD and Bipolar are particular areas of my focus. I work with adults who've been diagnosed recently and with adults who've spent decades wondering why everything feels harder than it should — and finally have an answer. My goal is to help you work with how your mind functions, not against it.

What you can expect from me

Most clients leave our first session feeling less alone than when they walked in. I won't have all the answers after one visit — but you will leave with a clear sense of what I'm seeing, what we might try, and what to expect next.

Over time, clients describe noticing the smaller things shift first: sleeping more consistently, less reactivity in stressful moments, being able to concentrate long enough to actually finish something. That's what we're building toward — not just symptom management, but feeling like yourself again.
