Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents, adults, and older adults. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

My clinical experience includes the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring substance use concerns. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy while collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and values.

I earned my advanced nursing education and specialized psychiatric training through accredited graduate programs and maintain national board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with evidence-based practices to provide the highest quality care.

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and client-centered. I recognize that mental health is influenced by many factors, including physical health, relationships, life experiences, culture, and environment. I work closely with clients to understand their unique circumstances and help them develop practical strategies to improve emotional well-being, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.

Whether you are seeking support for a new mental health concern, managing a long-standing condition, or looking to optimize your current treatment plan, I am committed to partnering with you on your path toward recovery, resilience, and lasting wellness. I look forward to supporting you in achieving your mental health goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with building a trusting, respectful therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and goals. I work closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs, strengths, and preferences.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy while emphasizing education about mental health conditions and treatment options. My goal is to empower clients to make informed decisions about their care and to actively participate in their recovery and wellness journey.

I have experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use concerns. I take a holistic approach that considers emotional, physical, social, and environmental factors that may impact mental health.

I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported. Together, we work toward improving symptom management, enhancing daily functioning, building resilience, and achieving long-term mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they are encouraged to openly discuss their concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals. My priority is to get to know you as a whole person—not just your diagnosis or symptoms.

The initial appointment typically includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, during which we will review your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, family history, lifestyle factors, and any previous treatment experiences. I will also ask about your strengths, support systems, and personal goals to gain a better understanding of how your mental health impacts your daily life.

Together, we will identify your primary concerns and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapeutic interventions, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals to additional resources when appropriate. I believe in shared decision-making and will take time to explain diagnoses, treatment options, potential benefits, and risks so you can make informed decisions about your care.

By the end of the first session, clients can expect to have a clearer understanding of their symptoms, an initial treatment plan, and realistic goals tailored to their needs. Most importantly, my goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about their path toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
