Great to meet you!

I identify as queer and the oldest daughter of Mexican immigrants. I am passionate about providing support to people who are experiencing life transitions, stressors, exploring their identity, dismantling weight stigma, stepping into body liberation, or processing trauma.

My approach to therapy

At the base of my work, I believe in validating who you are, being curious about where your experiences (emotions, behaviors, thoughts) are coming from, and examining the usefulness of these narratives. I take a holistic approach considering your identities, experiences, and structural inequities you have faced. We can then gently explore the usefulness of these narratives and you can decide whether to keep these or create new narratives.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel heard and validated after a session with me. I think it is important to be collaborative and transparent, where your agency is prioritized. I hope you would feel proud of yourself for taking a step toward your own healing!
