Great to meet you!

Hi and thank you for checking out my profile.

I am Rosemarie Hall-Heyduk

My educational background includes a Masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family from Chapman University and a Doctorate in Psychology from the Colorado School of Professional Psychology, now University of the Rockies, with focus on Trauma and Substance Abuse Treatment. I worked in Mental Health for the US Army for over 30 years and recently retired as full-time behavioral health treatment provider.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I do believe that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to counseling and psychotherapy. My approach can therefore best be described as 'integrative' or 'eclectic' and includes primarily Cognitive Behavioral, Solutions Focused, insight-oriented and REBT approaches in individual treatment, the Gottman approach to couples' therapy as well as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy or Prolonged Exposure as evidence-based modalities to deal with Trauma.
