Great to meet you!

Hi and congratulations on making it this far in your journey! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides compassionate counseling for caregivers and individuals navigating grief, loss, life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the clients I support are carrying responsibility for others while also trying to make space for their own needs, healing, and well-being. Caregiving, grief, and major life changes can bring exhaustion, uncertainty, sadness, guilt, and a sense of feeling stretched too thin. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and cared for while beginning to process what you are carrying and move toward greater balance, clarity, and emotional relief.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-specific, collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. In session, this may look like exploring the thoughts and emotions connected to grief, understanding relationship or caregiving patterns, building coping skills for anxiety and depression, practicing self-compassion, clarifying values, and creating practical tools to manage stress and life transitions. I believe therapy should honor your story while also helping you build insight, resilience, and healthier ways to care for yourself and others.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on welcoming you, building rapport, and creating a space where you can share what brings you to therapy at a pace that feels comfortable. We will talk about your current concerns, personal history, caregiving responsibilities, experiences with grief or loss, and the goals you hope to work toward. Whether you are navigating caregiver stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional exhaustion, or the pain of losing someone or something important, my goal is to help you feel supported from the start. Together, we will begin identifying your needs, strengths, and goals so we can create a direction for care that feels meaningful and realistic.
