Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, chronic stress, or major life transitions. You may find yourself feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from others, or unsure how to move forward. I work with adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress management concerns, women's issues, relationship difficulties, anger management challenges, and life changes that can impact emotional well-being. With more than 12 years of counseling experience, I help clients better understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to their struggles while developing practical tools for lasting change. Whether you're coping with personal challenges, relationship stress, self-doubt, or feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, therapy can provide a supportive space to gain clarity, build confidence, and create healthier ways of responding to difficult situations.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and solution focused. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding your experiences while also developing practical strategies that help you move forward. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength Based Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Based interventions, and Cognitive Restructuring techniques to support each client's unique goals. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be influencing your current challenges while identifying strengths that can help create positive change. Therapy may focus on managing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, anger management concerns, stress, self-esteem challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, communication problems, or life transitions. My goal is to help you build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful improvements in your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout the therapeutic process. I strive to create a space where you can openly explore challenges, gain insight into your experiences, and develop practical tools for growth. As we work together, you may experience increased confidence, healthier relationships, improved stress management, stronger emotional regulation skills, and greater clarity about the direction you want your life to take. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more empowered, resilient, and capable of navigating challenges with confidence while building a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
