Great to meet you!

Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, or going through difficult life transitions? Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like yourself lately, therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and figure things out at your own pace. Sometimes life throws more at us than we were prepared for—losses, changes, or just the weight of day-to-day stress—and it’s okay to ask for support when that happens.

I also work with people who notice things others don’t—like hearing sounds no one else seems to hear, or holding strong beliefs that friends or family keep telling you aren’t real. That can be really upsetting, especially when the people around you don’t seem to understand what you're going through. These kinds of experiences can make everyday life harder than it needs to be.

I have specialized training in helping people make sense of these experiences and find ways to feel more in control again.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is recovery-focused and culturally sensitive. I try to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and never judged. Therapy isn’t just about managing what's hard—it's also about reconnecting with your strengths and what makes you feel like you again.

I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and psychodynamic-informed approaches, depending on what fits best for you.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to move toward your goals. Along the way, you’ll gain practical skills to manage stress, navigate overwhelming emotions, and communicate more effectively so your needs can be clearly understood. You can expect to be accepted, respected, and validated—never judged—but also gently challenged and encouraged, because those moments often create the conditions for meaningful change and growth.

Therapy can be fun, difficult, and even painful at times, but ultimately it’s an illuminating experience that deepens your understanding of yourself: why you think, feel, and make the choices you do.

If any of this resonates with you and you’re considering starting therapy, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to talk more about how we can work together.
