Great to meet you!

I am an LCSW who graduated from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA over 12 years ago. A majority of my career has been spent in the medical field, however I didn't realize how much mental health was intertwined in the work I was doing. My approach is psychoanalytic and strengths perspective.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered and rooted in meeting you where you are. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support and guide you at your pace. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Together, we’ll work collaboratively to identify your goals and build on your strengths. Whether you're looking to gain insight, develop coping strategies, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here to support you in a way that feels respectful and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions to help you feel comfortable and set the tone for our work. From there, we’ll explore the specific challenges you’re currently facing, as well as gather some background and history to better understand your experience.

This initial session is a chance for me to get to know you and for you to ask any questions you may have. The information you share will help me develop a personalized plan tailored to your needs and goals, which we’ll build on in future sessions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood from the very beginning.
