Great to meet you!

Hi there — I'm Rosita, a bilingual (English / Spanish) therapist practicing in Florida for over 14 years. My passion is helping others be the best version of themselves, whether that looks like working through anxiety and depression, processing trauma, navigating relationships and parenting, focusing on ADHD, or untangling the layers that come with acculturation and immigration. I work with adults, children, and adolescents, and I'm a qualified supervisor for Registered Interns. I see clients via telehealth across Florida — and for my Spanish-speaking clients, having a therapist who can hold space for your experience in your first language is something I take seriously. I love continuing my own learning in the field, and I'm always looking for the approach that fits where you are.

My approach to therapy

Above all, I want my clients to feel heard and validated. I'll meet you where you are in your wellness journey, and we'll work together using the tools that fit you best — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused work, and Trauma-Informed interventions. For clients who want them, I also bring Art Therapy and Faith-based techniques into our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly about me getting to know you — what's bringing you in, what you're hoping to work on, and what's been going on lately. From there, we'll map out a plan together: the goals you want to focus on, the rhythm of sessions, and the approaches that feel right for you. You won't leave that first session with everything figured out — but you should leave knowing this is a space where you can be honest, and where we can build something useful from there.
