Great to meet you!

I am a Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience in treating a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma. I received a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Bradley University and a Master's in Education from Texas Woman's University.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrated approach to therapy which means I vary my techniques/interventions based on individual needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused and Mindfulness-Based interventions are the interventions I most often use with clients. I am a certified clinical trauma specialist and have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

What you can expect from me

I listen empathically and work with clients to set measurable goals and help them track progress towards meeting those goals. Clients will walk away from their first session with clear goals and an understanding of the treatment approach I will use to help them meet their goals.
