I am a licensed mental health therapist with 17+ years of experience specializing in substance use disorders, mental health, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring conditions. I also work with veterans, providing specialized mental health and substance use support tailored to military experiences and transition. I combine evidence-based practices with a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to support lasting recovery. I hold a Master’s degree from Clark Atlanta University and a Master’s in Addiction Counseling. A confidential, welcoming space where we’ll briefly discuss what brings you in, review your goals, and establish trust. I’ll gather essential history, current challenges, and any relevant life context, explain my approach and you can ask questions about treatment options. Together we’ll co-create a personalized plan, set realistic goals, discuss logistics (scheduling, duration, and frequency), and outline what success looks like for you. Since you’re located in Illinois, the session will be conducted securely online in compliance with applicable regulations and HIPAA Privacy practices.
