Great to meet you!

I am Roxane Marines, a Texas-licensed therapist for 18 years currently taking adult clients. I prioritize making clients feel supported & validated by providing treatment that is unbiased and free of judgment. I have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including those from military families, with neurodivergence, multi-cultural backgrounds, and ASD. I specialize in adjustment, trauma, PTSD, depression, student life, relationship stress, parent-child relationships, anxiety, and depression.

My approach to therapy

I individualize treatment approaches to the client based on their personality style and interests. I am flexible in terms of session focus and topics, I enjoy applying humor when it is fitting, and I love to educate clients with adaptive coping skills that are both practical and evidenced-based.

What you can expect from me

My hope for my client's first session is that they feel welcome, heard and understood. While there is some pertinent information to address at intake, that is secondary to my goal of helping the client feel that their time and efforts are valued.
