Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families. I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, a master’s degree in School Counseling, and a bachelor’s degree in Social Science. My professional background includes providing therapy in private practice, school, home, and community-based settings.

I specialize in relationship concerns, family conflict, anxiety, emotional regulation, parenting challenges, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, and communication difficulties. I also work with couples who want to strengthen their emotional connection, rebuild trust, improve intimacy, and develop healthier ways of managing conflict.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s needs. I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, family systems interventions, and Gottman-informed techniques. I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel safe, respected, and understood. I recognize that every client’s experiences and needs are different, so I tailor treatment to your goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship conflict, parenting challenges, communication concerns, self-esteem issues, and major life transitions. With couples and families, I help clients understand unhealthy interaction cycles, communicate more effectively, establish boundaries, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection.

My work incorporates family systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and Gottman-informed techniques. My style is warm and supportive while also being honest, structured, and goal-oriented. I will meet you where you are, gently challenge you when needed, and support you as you work toward healthier relationships and an improved sense of well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can begin sharing your story at a pace that feels comfortable. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, the concerns you would like to address, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, challenges, and current support system. Together, we will identify your immediate needs and begin developing clear, realistic goals for treatment. For couples and families, each person will have an opportunity to share their perspective while we identify patterns affecting the relationship or family system.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am the right therapist for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer understanding of how we can work together toward meaningful change.
