Great to meet you!

I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support, especially when you've experienced trauma, conflict within your family, or circumstances that have left you feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next. I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families through complex and sensitive situations, including trauma, domestic violence, family conflict, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and comfortable talking about the things that may be difficult to share elsewhere.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical. I believe therapy should meet you where you are while also helping you develop the insight and tools needed to create meaningful change in your life. We'll work collaboratively to understand what you're experiencing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build strategies that feel realistic for your everyday life. When working with trauma, I recognize the importance of moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable rather than feeling pressured to share more than you're ready for.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I'll ask questions about what you're currently experiencing, your history, and what you hope to gain from our work together, but you don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. We'll begin identifying your goals and discussing what support might be most helpful for you. Most importantly, I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.
