Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Roxi, a mom to grown people, a sister to seven siblings, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I listed my LPC last not because it’s not important but because along my life’s journey and more than thirty plus years of human service and social work experience, I have a lot of practical life and clinical expertise that I’ve accumulated over the years. My LPC allows me to share my experiences with others and with that, I am walking and working in my purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to utilize my education, life and personal experiences along with great listening skills to assist people through the challenges life brings. I understand that we are all unique and experience life’s challenges in our own unique ways. I believe that we do carry the change that we seek within ourselves. I want to help you release your yesterday so that you can step into your tomorrow. Additionally, I utilize cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and Solution-Focused therapy to help individuals and families achieve improved outcomes for their situation.

What you can expect from me

I believe in service to others; how we treat others as well as how we treat ourselves. As a person of faith, I believe God calls us to be accountable to and for each other. My hope is to help you know how to be accountable to yourself and those in your community, to build strong relationships and learn how to successfully communicate with your community. Know your value, know your worth, love yourself.
