Great to meet you!
I believe you are the expert in your own life and will strive to create a space where you can be authentic and vulnerable. My approach includes warmth, curiosity, collaboration, and humor.
I specialize in grief, end-of-life planning, personal disaster preparedness and post-disaster loss and recovery, pregnancy, post-partum, parenting (and those parenting a child with special needs), menopause, and those with an incarcerated loved one.
I believe community care, investment, and a sense of belonging are vital to feeling grounded and able to cope in these challenging times, and will focus on increasing your sense of connection in your chosen communities as a therapeutic intervention.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and received BAs in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies from DePaul University, and an MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
I am an LGBTQ+ affirming provider, and strive to make therapy sessions a safe experience for those of all races, genders, identities, and cultures.
