Great to meet you!

I believe you are the expert in your own life and will strive to create a space where you can be authentic and vulnerable. My approach includes warmth, curiosity, collaboration, and humor.

I specialize in grief, end-of-life planning, personal disaster preparedness and post-disaster loss and recovery, pregnancy, post-partum, parenting (and those parenting a child with special needs), menopause, and those with an incarcerated loved one.

I believe community care, investment, and a sense of belonging are vital to feeling grounded and able to cope in these challenging times, and will focus on increasing your sense of connection in your chosen communities as a therapeutic intervention.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and received BAs in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies from DePaul University, and an MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

I am an LGBTQ+ affirming provider, and strive to make therapy sessions a safe experience for those of all races, genders, identities, and cultures.

My approach to therapy

My approach is individualized, social justice informed, and draws from Psychodynamic, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Feminist modalities. I utilize strengths-based holistic treatment models that are founded in multicultural frameworks.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you will have a chance to share your story and what you hope to achieve from therapy. We will together identify your goals in order to make the most of our time together and ensure it is a meaningful investment for you.
