Great to meet you!

I have a bachelors degree in psychology from Baylor University and a masters degree in Clinical Mental Healthy from Sam Houston State University. I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient psychiatric treatment, community health, non-profits, and private practice. This has given me a unique perspective on addressing mental health concern. I believe that individuals have the ability to improve and live meaningful lives.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a collaboration between client and counselor. I view clients and the therapeutic process from an existential perspective.

What you can expect from me

I am often direct but empathic when working with clients and cultivate a trusting and accepting environment to help bring about desired change. By increasing awareness each individual can learn to better manage dysfunction as it presents itself in our day to day lives. Goals are established in a collaborative nature based on feedback from clients.
