Great to meet you!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, or the challenges life brings, I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate it all alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work primarily with adults who are looking for support, clarity, and practical ways to feel better and move forward. My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental, and I want you to feel comfortable showing up as you are, without fear of being judged. I also believe in being honest, direct, and solution-oriented because sometimes we need more than someone to listen; we need tools, perspective, and encouragement to create meaningful change. I’ll work alongside you to recognize your strengths, build confidence, and discover practical strategies that fit your life. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

My approach to therapy

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or a major life transition, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work primarily with adults, providing a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, gain clarity, and work toward meaningful change.

With over six years of experience in private practice, my approach is compassionate, direct, and solution-oriented. I believe therapy should offer both understanding and practical tools you can use in everyday life. As an EMDR-trained clinician, I may incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help you process distressing experiences when appropriate. I also draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another and identify healthier ways of responding to challenges. Through Motivational Interviewing, we can explore your values, work through uncertainty, and strengthen your motivation to make changes that matter to you. I may also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help you manage difficult emotions, tolerate distress, stay present, and navigate relationships more effectively.

I believe therapy should be collaborative and individualized, not one-size-fits-all. Our sessions may involve exploring patterns, identifying goals, developing coping strategies, and building on the strengths you already possess. I strive to balance compassion with honest feedback and actionable steps, helping you feel supported while empowering you to move forward.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season or ready for a change, we can begin where you are and work together toward greater confidence, emotional well-being, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session takes place virtually, allowing you to connect with me from a comfortable, private space of your choosing. We’ll use this time to discuss what brings you to therapy, what you’re experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask about your current concerns, relevant personal history, and anything that may help me better understand your needs and goals. We’ll also review important details about the therapy process, including confidentiality, expectations, and any questions you may have about virtual sessions. You don’t need to prepare a perfect explanation of what you’re going through or share everything at once. We’ll take things one step at a time. By the end of our session, I hope you’ll have a clearer sense of where we can begin, what our next steps might look like, and how we can work together moving forward. All you need is a private space where you feel comfortable talking and a reliable internet connection. I look forward to meeting you!
