Great to meet you!

I am a counselor, educator, and lifelong learner who is passionate about helping individuals grow, heal, and find greater purpose in their lives. My professional background includes work in education, counseling, and leadership, where I have supported individuals navigating personal, academic, and life challenges. My training emphasizes compassionate, client-centered care that draws from evidence-based approaches while honoring each person’s unique experiences and strengths. I am particularly interested in supporting clients who are working through life transitions, personal growth, faith integration, and resilience in the face of challenges. My goal is to create a supportive and respectful environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I draw from several evidence-based and holistic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Transpersonal Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. Through CBT, I help clients identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behavior. Person-Centered and Experiential approaches guide my commitment to creating a supportive, empathetic environment where clients can explore their experiences openly and authentically. I also integrate transpersonal perspectives to support meaning-making, personal growth, and spiritual reflection when appropriate. Using a trauma-informed lens, I prioritize safety, trust, and empowerment so that clients can work through challenges at a pace that respects their experiences and promotes lasting healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, respectful, and supportive conversation focused on getting to know them and understanding what has brought them to counseling. During this initial meeting, we will talk about your goals, current concerns, and any experiences that may be important to your healing and growth. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and valued. Together, we will begin identifying priorities and developing a path forward that supports your well-being, personal growth, and resilience, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
