Great to meet you!

I want you to know that I care about your well-being and helping you be the best version of yourself. I'm an advocate by profession with 20 years in social work and nearly 10 years in the mental health field. My experience spans across the mental health settings to healthcare, child-welfare, and immigration. As a bilingual Latino male, with extensive experience working with diverse populations, I bring a unique cultural perspective and I will work with you to achieve your goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and I strive to offer a safe and supportive environment to help build that resilience. To foster this environment, I practice an open, collaborative, and respectful style to therapy. I aim to ensure each person is heard and supported in their personal journey of growth. However difficult that journey may be, I am here, alongside with you.

What you can expect from me

I utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered approaches. Clients can expect respect and support from me with each session as they continue the pursuit of their goals. We'll work towards establishing increased self-awareness and actualization. My hope is to encourage empowerment everyday to enable a more meaningful life.
