Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating relationship issues, racism, bigotry, family dynamics, loneliness, worry, and neurodivergence, often at points where life feels stuck or overwhelming. My clinical background includes community mental health which gives me a grounded understanding of how identity, mental health, and daily functioning intersect. I am licensed in both Colorado and Texas, so I can support clients across state lines through telehealth. I tend to work well with people who want a therapist who is direct, warm, and genuinely invested, not just someone who nods along.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels human first and clinical second. My approach blends humility, authenticity, and a bit of humor, because real change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, including with themselves. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler, along with a background in psychology and technology that shapes how I think about problems: systematically, but never losing sight of the person in front of me. I currently work with a residential substance use treatment program, where I see firsthand how layered recovery can be, and I bring that same steady, judgment free presence to every client, whether they are managing depression, sleep difficulties, or simply trying to figure out their next step.

What you can expect from me

I am currently building out my caseload and welcome new clients at a pace that lets me give each person real, focused attention rather than spreading myself thin. If you are looking for a therapist who takes the work seriously without taking himself too seriously, and who brings both clinical training and real world business sense to how he runs his practice, I would love to connect. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
