Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor, I believe that mental well-being is foundational to living a fulfilling and connected life. Taking the step to begin therapy can be challenging, and I commend you for making that choice. Over the course of my career in college and community mental health, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate substance use, addiction, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and challenges with motivation. My goal is to create a compassionate, judgment-free environment where growth and healing can take root.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in collaboration and respect for each person’s unique story. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed approaches. Together, we’ll identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, and develop strategies that align with your goals and values. I strive to balance empathy and insight with practical guidance, offering both warmth and gentle challenge as you work toward change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a space for you to share your story in a way that feels comfortable. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy and explore what you’d like to achieve. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but we’ll move at your pace. By the end of our meeting, you’ll have a sense of my style and how we might work together to move toward the life you want to build—one that feels more intentional, connected, and at peace.
