Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Ru. Maybe you are here because you keep everything together for everyone else, but inside it feels like you’re running on empty. The weight of work, family, and unspoken stress has left little room for you. Therapy is where you get to focus on yourself, reset, and find your footing again. I work with adults navigating stress, trauma, and major transitions, including busy parents and professionals who feel overwhelmed. I’m skilled at addressing relational stress in both individuals and couples, and I guide co-parents in reducing conflict. I also provide focused support for women experiencing peri and menopause.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, there is no expectation to hold it all together. I do not offer formulas or scripts. I offer space that is real, grounded, and fully attuned to you. You can show up tired, silent, overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure. You can cry, swear, laugh, go quiet, or say you do not know. There is no performance here. Just space for you to be fully yourself and to be met with warmth, honesty, and curiosity.

We begin by telling the truth about what is working and what is not and building trust in our relationship. We explore all of you: emotionally, physically, and relationally. This might mean exploring how your nervous system responds to stress, noticing the old patterns that still show up, or looking at how certain dynamics are draining your energy and sense of self. Together, we will find what actually supports you in the rhythm of your real life; not some perfect or idealized version of it.

What you can expect from me

I draw from evidence-based methods to help people feel more grounded, more in control, and more connected to themselves. It’s not just about understanding what’s wrong, it’s about building what works. That includes:

  • Exploring how your thoughts shape your emotions and actions (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
  • Helping you work through stuck patterns and past experiences (EMDR, Coherence therapy, and Internal Family Systems)
  • Tuning into how stress and emotion show up in your body (Somatic Experiencing)
  • Looking at how food and lifestyle can impact your mood and energy (Nutritional Psychiatry)
  • Using our therapeutic relationship as a tool to foster changes in how you perceive yourself and react.

Everything we do is focused on creating real change that feels doable and lasting.

Many of my clients are used to pushing through. They are high-functioning and deeply capable, but they are tired of feeling like they are barely holding it together.

If you are ready to stop carrying it all alone and want to do the deeper work, I’ll meet you with clarity, respect, and bit of laughter mixed in. You do not have to be perfect here. We welcome it all with curiosity, not judgment.

You are not broken.

You are not behind.

You are human. And you do not have to figure this out alone.
