Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are and feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, domestic violence recovery, relationship challenges, anger, stress, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and major life transitions, with a particular passion for supporting veterans. My goal is to create a warm and authentic therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I believe meaningful change is possible when we understand not only what we are feeling, but the "why," to begin learning new ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and direct when needed. I do not believe therapy should feel like you are simply talking while someone sits back and listens. I am actively engaged with you, asking questions, offering insight, and helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. I tailor therapy sessions to the individual, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and

Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness-based

techniques, helping you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and behaviors. We will work together to build practical tools, strengthen self-awareness, and create changes that extend beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you as a person, not just a list of symptoms or a diagnosis. I want to understand what brought you to therapy, what you have been carrying, what is working in your life, and where you would like things to be different. There is no expectation that you share everything immediately; we will move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify your needs and goals. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful that you have someone in your corner.
