Ruth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. During the past 10 years she has worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of situations including homelessness, residential facilities, substance, and the court system. Ruth believes everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life's difficulties. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

Ruth utilizes various therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, family therapy and mindfulness-based interventions.

My goal is to create a safe space where patients can tell their story, gain insight into how that has impacted them, and create a new reality that is more fulfilling. Patients can expect sessions to be a collaborative process, designed to empower them to accomplish mental health and wellness goals. I can offer new perspectives and provide insight moving them towards their personal goals.
